About the event
Melbourne’s acclaimed cosmic country outfit, Lost Ragas, are taking their elixirs, remedies and cure-alls and fleeing the urban jungle. Combining forces with promoter Leicashow Presents, they will stage a series of shows in mainly Regional Victoria in March. The shows will be presented in unique venues, such as halls and theatres (not pubs and clubs), giving fans the opportunity to experience the band's infamous live show in more intimate, safer surroundings. They'll be performing songs from their latest album, This Is Not A Dream, as well as selected aural medicines and liniments from their apothecary.

Lost Ragas are:
Matt Walker – singer/songwriter/guitarist extraordinaire, Matt won a Best Blues & Roots Album ARIA in 2000. He first came to prominence in the ‘90s working alongside the great Broderick Smith (Carson/Dingoes) before releasing a series of albums, both in duo format with drummer Ash Davies and solo. Aside from Lost Ragas, these days Matt can be found performing around the country with Tex Perkins as a duo, and also collaborating in Tex Perkins & The Fat Rubber Band who released their debut album late last year.
Shane Reilly – pedal steel guitarist Shane is also a long-time Tex Perkins associate and is the man whose otherworldly conjuring on the pedal steel guitar - and on piano, guitar and mandolin - are probably most responsible for the group’s cosmic sound. Shane has also worked with Brian Cadd, Freya Josephine Hollick, The Plagiarists, and Sime Nugent amongst others.
Roger Bergodaz – Lost Ragas’ bass player, Roger is a versatile fella, who runs Union St Recording Studio, producing artists while also playing drums with Tex Perkins and the Fat Rubber Band. Roger has worked with Sime Nugent, Freya Josephine Hollick, The Ahern Brothers, plus many more.
Haydn Meggitt – Lost Ragas’ drummer has played with Vika Bull, Dan Sultan, Ross Wilson and Jimmy Barnes to name a few.
